Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is the vigorous, breath-linked method of fixed posture series codified by K. Pattabhi Jois (1915–2009) from Krishnamacharya's teaching, unified by the 'tristana' of breath, bandha and gaze (dṛṣṭi). It should not be confused with Patañjali's eight-limbed aṣṭāṅga.
