Vajrayāna
Vajrayāna is the tantric stream of Mahāyāna Buddhism (c. 7th c. CE onward) that uses deity-yoga, mantra, maṇḍala and subtle-body practice to transform ordinary experience into the path to awakening. It spread from India across the Himalaya into Tibet.
